The RotaCota Soft Grip Scraper can be used to scrape paint of surfaces such as timer, rendered brick, concrete, masonry, metal and plasterboard. It is also ideal for filling putty or filler compounds onto building materials.
Place the paint scraper onto the surface. Apply a good amount of pressure, and pull the scraper down vertically, not horizontally. Be very careful not to damage the wood below the paint. Reduce pressure if you notice splintering. Continue removing loose paint with the paint scraper until you cannot remove anymore. Use 80- to 120-grit sandpaper to smooth any loose or jagged bits of old paint chips that remain.
When you have finished using the RotaCota Soft Paint Scraper, give it a wash using warm soapy water. Dry the scraper then store away for easy access for your next painting job
